Let the games begin!
At Active Dogs we help you create real world results for dogs of any age, from an 8 week old puppy to a senior dog of 14 years or more.
We achieve this through the use of games in training. Making learning fun for you and your 4 legged companions.
We offer many options, from group classes through to workshops where we explore areas in more depth.
If you're not quite ready for the excitement of a class environment, or if you prefer a more personalized approach, we offer 1-on-1 private training sessions. During these sessions, we'll develop a training plan tailored specifically to you and your dog. These sessions can take place at your home or here at Active Dogs HQ, in a fully fenced private paddock.
If you are interested in taking your training a wee bit further, we offer an introduction to the fun world of dog sports. Come and try your hand at Agility, Obedience, Scentwork/Nosework, Trick Training or Rally O.
Workshops will follow for a more in-depth look at each one of these fabulous sports and specific dog training topics such as Perfect Recalls, Rocking Relationships and Calm Confidence.

We do not work with any of the following behaviour challenges...

(we will refer these cases onto a veterinary behaviourist)

Cancellation Policies

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 48 hrs notice:

Up to 72 hours before the class - Refund minus the administration fee of $25
-
36-72 hour notice - refund of 50% cost of the course
-
No refund if cancelling within 36 hours of the start of the class
-
No refund after completion of the first session and inability to continue to full course completion
If cancelling before 48hrs of the start of the class, please let us know if you would like to postpone your spot to a class later in the year - Extra administration fee of $25
Dog Registration and Microchipping
All dogs over the age of 3 months attending classes are required to be registered and microchipped
(Schedule 1 of the Dog Control Act 1996)
